The application has been approved and you can take control of the Padres team. If you need answers for the new league Jerry and I can usually be found rather quickly. One thing that needs to be mentioned: before you make any franchise altering trades, really become familiar with trade valuations that exist in a 28 team league. Depth can never be understated, ever. Initial steps 1. Register for our Forum. 2. Copy and paste the current Padres roster then create a new thread where you are the new owner and you then can edit your own threads. 3. Create your own Transaction thread to document all your team activity. 4. Create your own Prospect thread, like your roster above. Be aware that players get 5 years of protection at a salary of $300k once promoted. 5. Change your login name to Padres GM – (Name) or something like that so other owners will know who they are dealing with. a. Steps, click on profile and edit profile, then select personal tab and update Display Name. 6. If you have a Smart Phone or IPAD I recommend that you download Taptalk for your mobile device access. 7. Will need your fantrax ID to give you access. It works perfectly to keep you in touch with all league and team activity. Good luck and welcome! Joey Rockies

Name (At least First): TJ Pitts AIM/YIM/MSN/Email: majors@tjpitts.com Fantasy Experience? I’ve been playing fantasy baseball a long time. Use to calculate weekly roto 4x4 stats using Microsoft Multiplan, hand copying the stats from the Tuesday and Wednesday editions of USAToday. I drafted guys like Vince Coleman and Tom Glavine as rookies in dynasty leagues. And I still bemoan Hubie Brooks’ knee injury in 1986 that cost me the title in my NL roto league that year.
Dynasty Experience?
My keep-forever Strat Hockey league started in 1983 and I joined in 1991. Over the years I’ve been in several leagues that lasted a decade, including a roto basketball league that started in 1985, and several versions of dynasty and keeper baseball. I’ve founded some, been a long time commissioner in others, a committee member reviewing trades, you name it.
Contract League Experience?
I’m in two contract leagues currently. A 30-teamer now in its 4th year where I’m on the trade committee and we average 300-350 trades a year (the main reason I don’t volunteer for admin duty in my other leagues). And a 28-teamer that I believe a couple folks here share, FBL. I’m the Pirates in both those leagues.
Teams you prefer in order (if none are listed below, you don't have to list a team you want as none are available at that time) They would then be offered to the GM on the waiting list 1st. You also don't have to take a team offered, as you can continue to wait on a team you want.
I'm interested in the White Sox. I’m old enough that ideally this is the last league I ever join. Would be nice to spend two more decades in the four leagues I’m in now (if this is to be the 4th) and then hang up my fantasy spikes after 55 years of playing at being a GM.

Fantasy/Dynasty/Contract League Experience?
I've been in different fantasy leagues for over 20 years and currently am the commissioner of a 28 team league (FBL), and several of our members are also members of this league. It is a contract league that I've been a part of since 2006 and it has a fairly similar structure to this league. I'm aware that there are quite a few differences that can affect inflation, the value of rookies contracts, etc., but I'm pretty sure I'll pick up the nuances of this market fairly quickly after diving into past bidding threads and trades. I am also in a fairly deep standard keeper right now and co-manage a team in a 16 team league that has a live quick auction every year at a bar. I think this is a good time to add a 4th. I'll definitely take it seriously. Teams you prefer in order (if none are listed below, you don't have to list a team you want as none are available at that time) They would then be offered to the GM on the waiting list 1st. Well the state of the Phillies franchise is not strong, but I am down for the challenge of trying to rebuild this thing.

I'm cool taking the Padres if they're still available. Tigers fan in real life, but the Padres did give them the World Series in 84.

Fantasy Experience: I've been playing fantasy baseball for about 18 years now. I started off with just standard redraft leagues but they quickly lost my interest. I joined a league that was extremely similar to this one(Bigs) in 2006 I believe and have been hooked on this format ever since.
Dynasty Experience and Contract League Experience: I was in Bigs for 11 years and I also joined another 28 team league (FBL) in 2009 that I'm still an active member in.
I would like to take over the Cardinals if possible.
