White Sox trade: Jose Berrios (MIN - SP).....$300,000 (2021) Edwin Diaz (SEA - SP/RP).....$300,000 (2021)
Tigers trade: 3B Nick Castellanos $300,000 (2019)
White Sox accept. I'm hoping Castellanos year was a bit of a breakout than the .250-.260ish hitter he was previously. But I have depth in pitching still and don't want to have to swim in the FA pool to fill third. Berrios should be fine after a rough adjustment to MLB last year at only 22yo; he dominated AA-AAA the last two years. But I've got a number of SP still. And Diaz looks like one of the best closers in the league already, but I've still got one or two other closers. So I think this works out filling needs for both of us. Thanks for the smooth negotiations; Tigers to confirm when he can.

Trade will not be voted on until Tigers has posted the required threads he has yet to post a 2017 Roster, Minors or Transaction posts in his team forum.

Yeah if the league is going to leave me to clean that up with no effort from the admins after it was requested then I want no part in this league
There is no way to accurately post my minors as there was no 2016 minors post by the previous owner that i can see and I can't determine what minors remain from previous seasons

I have seen way worse minors post not sure what issue is Tigers was a former mod so his players are accurate if not in a great format but can be fixed by a GM easily to fit his style. And this is no reason to not even have a roster posted sorry we are not going to let you make trades without having at least a accurate 2017 roster. So if you're out we need to know so we can find a replacement and cancel this trade. Let us know. I never got any PM that i recall asking for any help can't speak for Jerry.

Trade is going to be void as cjenvy says we "run a bad league" and is going to leave despite him being a MUCH DEEPER LEAGUE he seems to struggle with how to put together his minors which is a little odd for someone in a "much deeper league" than this one. I never got one PM asking for help since he joined.
We clearly do something right as we have been around since 2012 so not sure how we run a bad league unless he expected us to do all the work for him he was taking over a team that made the playoffs WITHOUT A GM in 2016 and was ran by a former TAB Member so I am sure his stuff was in pretty good order.
Sorry to White Sox but this is what is best for the league and the Tigers Franchise.
We wish CJ the best in finding a league better suited for him.

No problem - I support this decision if he's stepping down. My hunt for a 3B continues!

Yeah, I never received a PM from the Tigers either. I will admit that the minors page was a little confusing, but not a trainwreck by any means. I would have been willing to help him if he had asked, but I feel like he wanted us to assemble the page for him. If that was the case, then I do not feel he would have been suited for a league like this where you need to perform a lot of your own research and due diligence

There wasn't any issues with help, I nicely asked him to fix his roster threads and decide on his FA releases. Went the 2nd mile trying to help him out, so Joey and I both spent time trying to help.

Same here - I helped him sort out his 2017 roster and offered to help with the rest if he had questions as well. Just don't think he wanted to manage it all himself. I'm in some leagues like that as well, where we post the transactions but rosters are managed by the admins, I'm guessing he was expecting something similar to that. Hopefully the new Tigers owner still wants to trade me Castellanos haha!

Yeah. I recall when I first joined this league. Rays wasn't in too bad of shape, but it can still be daunting to try and piece all of the history together. Especially if you've never played in a league like this. But you have to put in the up front work and after that it's pretty easy.
To be honest, I actually think it would be easier on new owners if teams were required to keep all of their prospects correct on Fantrax as well. Worst thing that would happen is a free agent eligible guy would be stuck in someone's minors. So once a year the TAB would have to go drop some of those guys if someone wanted to bid on them. But at least 90 percent of the trade and draft history would be easily tracked if those players were placed on a roster.

100% against all prospects being listed on fantrax just not a fan at all.
I can't get some teams to even follow putting paid minors on fantrax.

Unless they improve the watch list on the new Fantrax site, I like having them all on my roster so I can see news updates and notice if a spec gets called up. Much easier to follow our huge MiLB systems that way. The watch list on the old Fantrax is garbage. But we'll see how the new site is once the season gets going.

I am in agreement with Rays. Yes, it probably would be a pain in the butt to add everyone and have a long list of names, but as he said, it makes it much easier to track a team's prospects

Unless ppl are adding guys they do not even own as most guys with ML Service Time likely have been called up and verified (not always clearly).
I don't want that many guys on my fantrax. There are other ways to keep up with your guys in minors. I doubt some teams even have paid minors on fantrax as it is.
