Cardinals accept. Moving expiring contracts that will not be resigned. Getting back two solid bullpen arms that are under team control longer than the ones heading out. Crawford will be starting SS for cardinals and fills that void. The prospects are all in the low 20s with potential. Hope and Brice could be mid rotation starters one day, Perio is an offensive minded 2B that could be a trade piece if Wong delivers as promised. As for Rojas Jr, he is young and has the tools to be a 5 tool guy, but truly only time will tell with him. Overall the trade moves pieces that would hit FA and brings in players that will be on the team for the next couple of years with some potential to make this trade a really good one for the cardinals.

personally I would have kept and resigned Samardjiza. I think Marlins is getting him cheap. Since he is getting some BP arms back a year of Webb and 2 years of Dunn. I do think Dunn could be decent this year. Crawford is a cost controlled starter, maybe hell be better this year. There is a nice quantity of specs on top of that. Value is there
