White Sox trade:Tyler Beede, SP (SF Prospect - taken in this year FYPD 1.16) CHW 2014 2nd rd FYPD pick (2.16) CHW 2015 2nd rd FYPD pick CHW 2015 3rd rd FYPD pick CHW 2014 Dispersal pick Angels trade:SP - Alex Wood - (2018) - $300,000 1B - Jon Singleton - (2019) - $300,000 White Sox up the offer adding more quality without reducing quantity. After bankrupting my next 3 drafts I hope these two pan out since there will be no MiLB reinforcements coming soon. If you haven't read our reasoning in the last three threads, please see here, here, and here for more details. White Sox accept.

Halos accept. I believe I've explained myself sufficiently.

I think the Angels will end up GREATLY regretting this deal esp if Wood or Singleton come even close to matching their potential during their rookie deals. And White Sox you managed to keep the most important FYPD your 2015 1st Rd hardly bankrupt Approval #1

I'm still not sold on it. I'll have to do a bit more thinking about it. I just don't think 1 prospect and 4 crap shoots should net 2 good, young major leaguers with high upside who are both signed to rookie contracts long-term. It just doesn't sit right with me. I'll hold off on voting right now.

Approval #2
Both teams seem to be very well managed as evidenced by their places in the standings. I trust their judgments that this will help both teams. Would I personally trade Singleton? No. But I don't have the luxury of having Abreu on my roster. The Angels do seem to be dealing from their strength. Also, to pull Beede and all those draft picks from the White Sox certainly requires a decent return.
