Was nothing personal with Trumbo, but I would never approve a 30-40 homer guy for 6.5M.

This always comes up with re-signs after career years. Look at Arrieta last year. It has happened multiple times. Some people don't think the stats will hold in the future and others do believe they will.

I'm not bitter but don't tell me to not include anything from 2012 and then do it yourself. You didn't say not to ONLY use 2012, it was clear to me that anything prior to the rule change was useless. You even sent me a PM stating that 2012 and 2013 were "a bit irrelevant". If you guys decide what is fair for our resigns, we should at least be able to comment what we think of the TABs resigns. And nobody moved Rays commentary on my first attempt to this thread. I just want the process and logic to be fair across the board. Don't misinterpret this as bitterness.

I also listed 3 other C I didn't just say here is Miggy Montero like you did with Quentin and say this is what my offer is soley based off. You would barely acknowledge any OF not named Carlos Quentin who had been re-signed but okay. As I said replacing Montero with Lucroy makes basically same argument at least I adjusted my stance where I am not sure you ever really did but that is fine. Like I said if anyone thinks they can come up with a blanket system for EVERYONE I encourage you to try but I don't think its possible for baseball at all.

Yes that's true. Why would I mention other players if I found almost an exact match in Quentin? Had you said the same about McCann (who had almost identical numbers to Perez) I wouldn't care. What's the value of listing 3-4 other options if you find something almost exact? Doesn't make sense. Unless you're trying to sway value one way or another.

SEA, STL, and TOR are the only teams with guys listed as “Possible Resign” but that haven’t been posted.
STL has made 2 dispersal draft picks
Possibly they all changed their minds.

I didn't make my mind until Seattle actually gave Walker a contract
