Jace Peterson (ATL) 2B $300,000 (2020)
Matt Szczur (CHC) LF - Prospect

Mariners Send:

SS/CF Brad Miller $300,000 (2018)

Braves accept. I have quite a few 2B options right now at all levels and not many options at SS. Miller showed a little bit in split time last year, so I am hoping with a job in TB he can make a bit of a jump and solve my SS problems for a couple years.

Mariners accept - my team is in need for a 2B - Peterson depending on where you do your research will either split time or start - but either way this gives me body at 2B which right now I am lacking - and the options in free agency are way to expensive - Szczur is buried in Chicago but has good minor league numbers - so maybe he can at some point be a 4th OF or be traded -

I think this makes sense from all sides. Miller's probably the best player right now, but no sure thing with Beckham behind him as well.
