White Sox trade:
Jered Weaver (LAA - SP).....$14,000,000 (2016)
Franchy Cordero, SS (SD) -prospect
Jacob May, OF (CHW) -prospect

Braves trade:
Ian Kennedy (KC) SP $9,250,000 (2016)

White Sox accept. It's a sad state of affairs when a possibly injured Kennedy is a better option than a possibly injured Weaver lol. But I have more faith in Kennedy for this season at least. Should help hold me over until a couple of my SP's are called up later in the year. I'm set at SS and CF for a while hopefully, so prospect depth at those positions shouldn't be an issue. This trade is mostly Kennedy for May and Cordero, but Weaver was needed to make the salaries work and could provide some rotation filler for Braves this year too if he pitches ok.

My attempt to build a rotation has not exactly gone as I envisioned. I like the possibility of what May could bring in the future.

However, Weaver is more expensive and less interesting. The prospects even out that difference 2-0
