Congrats to:
Tampa Bays Rays - AL East winner Chicago White Sox - AL Central winner
Also, congrats to both the Seattle Mariners & Texas Rangers for clinching playoff spots. One will be the AL West winner and the other will be the wild card*.
*(Kansas City at the moment trails the Rangers by 24 games in the wild card race with 24 left to play. While its technically possible they could finish tied, the Rangers hold the tiebreaker by winning their H2H matchup with KC).
In the NL:
11 teams still left alive for playoff spots (some better than others). The only teams eliminated so far are the Braves, Pirates & Giants.

The NL Playoff picture with 1 week left to play:
In the NL last week we had 11 teams still alive with only 3 eliminated. This week its still 10 alive with 4 eliminated as the Phillies went down the tubes. We still have races in every division as no one has clinched yet. The Rockies and Marlins are very close.
NL EAST 1) Miami Marlins 138 - 104 - 22 - .564 2) Washington Nationals 127 - 112 - 25 - .528 9.5 3) New York Mets 130 - 117 - 17 - .525 10.5
NL CENTRAL 1) Milwaukee Brewers 138 - 104 - 22 - .564 - 2) St. Louis Cardinals 136 - 111 - 17 - .547 4.5 3) Cincinnati Reds 129 - 115 - 20 - .527 10
NL WEST 1) Colorado Rockies 152 - 91 - 21 - .616 - 2) Arizona Diamondbacks 145 - 103 - 16 - .580 9.5 3) Los Angeles Dodgers 144 - 102 - 18 - .580 9.5 4) San Diego Padres 143 - 102 - 19 - .578 10
NL WILD CARD 1) Arizona Diamondbacks 145 - 103 - 16 .580 - 2) Los Angeles Dodgers 144 - 102 - 18 .580 - 3) San Diego Padres 143 - 102 - 19 .578 .5 ----------------------------------------------------------------- **4) St. Louis Cardinals 136 - 111 - 17 .547 8.5
** though the Cardinals are only 8.5 games behind in the wild card standings, because the Dodgers and D'Backs play each other during the last week, it is only possible for him to overtake one of those teams but not both.

Congrats all. My starting pitching is falling apart right now. Darvish has been lit up his last two starts. Fulmer is possibly facing TJ surgery. McCullers is just returning from DL. Archer left his last start after allowing 2HR to start the game. And Kennedy has been miserable the last month. Looks like I'll be trying to win despite my starting pitching!

Well, now you might have a slightly used Trevor Cahill in your possession. If only I had put Chris Bassitt in my paid minors instead of the DL at the beginning of the season :/

Congratulations everyone. The level of competition here is outstanding, and it's crazy to think how a few small moves here and there would have made such a huge difference
