I hate vetoing trades involving veteran GMs but sometimes we have to do what we feel is best. I just believe that Wood/Singleton is worth more than 1.16, 2.16, 2015 3rd Rd FYOD and two crapshoot dispersal picks.

It's ok, I understand everyone has their own evaluation of these guys. In my opinion, I think Wood/Singleton are being a bit over-valued though. Wood and Singleton are not sure-fire team cornerstones they seem like they're being treated as.
Singleton has got power, but some very serious question marks. He has just as good a chance of being a no average HR only guy as he does of being a top 10 1B.
Wood is back to starting right now, but lots of scouting reports see him as a RP or injured with his mechanics. Wood is probably the safer bet as he will at least be good at RP if SP doesn't stick.
With 5 picks I think LAA should be able to re-coup the value and a good chance Angels comes out on top of this in the long run. Even DD picks have value with mid-round CHC/HOU prospects and international signings. It fits both our team's needs well setting him up for a deeper farm and my team is built to compete in the next few years.
I respect everyone's opinions and TAB's votes, just wanted to try and lay out my perspective/valuations in a little more detail.

As I said I hate to use a veto esp on veteran GMs I just couldn't find a way to approve it and I looked at it many different ways the first time it was attempted before the extra 3rd FYPD was added.

I just wanted to add one thing about Dispersal Draft Picks. Generally, I don't rate them very highly myself but there are exceptions to that. I acquired Dallas Keuchel | SP | HOU (2017) with the #1 pick this year. Even though it was the #1 pick, that is misleading. I had became Phillies GM late and the dispersal draft was already under way. The Phillies pick had been skipped numerous times, so I only landed Keuchel after 14 other teams had picked.
Gold can occasionally be found in that draft. Knowing that perhaps clouds my judgment if I see a team trying to acquire one of those picks. Perhaps he knows of another player missed like Keuchel. Problem is we really can't ask who he might have his eye on.

The issue, though, Phillies, is that how many Keuchels are drafted compared to all the duds that are taken. Dispersal drafts are different thank FYPD's, you're almost taking off a scrap heap and not (usually) picking from a broader pool of talented young players like in the FYPD. That was and still remains my hold-up on this deal.
