Nick Ahmed (ARI) SS $300,000 (2020)
Tigers Send:
SP Drew Smyly $300,000 (2017)
Braves accept. I need starting pitchers and Smyly fits the bill. I am deep at SS so Ahmed is expendable. Dispersal picks value range significantly so I felt Smyly was decent value for what I was giving up.

Highly doubt Braves was going to trade you Amed Rosario + a pick for one yr of a Drew Smyly seems like a overpay to me. Does Braves even own Amed Rosario? I didn't find anything in a search of his name. I assume he is still on the New York Mets but his minors are a mess and very undetailed. Anyway trade is cancelled. |
