Giants accept.

Swapping the resign tags to give Cleveland a little more flexibility for the next few years. I can afford to take an another dead resign tag and I get value out of Upton which I wasn't likely to get otherwise. I'm very high on Chang, he's got a higher floor and a better timetable then Rondon albeit in a crowded young infield.

Indians accept

For me it's about getting rid of the Masterson resign so I can resign Kluber after 2017 season. Upton also gives me a useable player and I'm light on OF.

Chang and the #6 DD pick are hard to give up, but I'd rather have the resign 1 year earlier and I already have a long term option at SS.

Rondon was traded from TB to SF.

Masterson is clearly worth very little which SF understands. So really it comes down to Chang/#6 2016 DD Pick for "Don't Call Me BJ" and Rondon.

Chang is the #6 spec in the Indians system given a Grade B by Sickels.

Adrian Rondon is the #14th spec in TB system given a Grade C+/B- by Sickels.

Melvin did hit 20 HR last year and should be the starting LF in Toronto this year at least to start the year.
