Carlos Gomez (LF/CF) TEX - $10.0M (2018)***RE-SIGN***
Justin Jacome (LHP MIA) - Spec

Indians Send:

Asdrubal Cabrera - $10,000,000 (2017) (RESIGN)

Marlins accept. Money and resign tag are even. Miami adds a spec to account for the additional year of resign. I clear a spot in crowded OF to resign Trumbo and fill a need at SS.

Indians Accept

CarGomez is a bit of a risk with that contract for the next 2 years, but i like what he did at the end of last season and I need OF help. Cabrera is my 2nd SS and a resign but he was coming off the books after 2017 so I wanted a lower level spec because of the risk with Gomez extra year of contract.
