Previous Contract
3B: Justin Turner $300,000 (2016)
First Offer
3 years @ 8.5M
2017 OPS 832 2016 OPS 861 2015 OPS 897 in 322PA
Turner will be 32 at the start of the season and should be solid for another 3 seasons
Kyle Seager received 8.5M as a resign and I think they are comparable

Approve #1 I probably would approve 8M, but your evaluation for a starting Corner Infielder is more in line with my value system. Turner doesn't have the consistency of a Brandon Belt yet but they are comparable in there play. Turner doesn't have the fire power of a Trumbo either but he is getting stronger ever season.

I think its is too high potentially I think Kyle Seager is easily a better player he has consistently hit for more pop than Turner. But maybe the break-out is for real projections seem to think so they have him projected by fantrax as .287/.864 86 R 27 HR 95 RBI 6 SB. Seager is projected .269/.808 84 R 27 HR 90 RBI 5 SB so very close same age.
