White Sox trade: Albert Pujols (LAA - 1B).....$12,000,000 (2018)
Marlins trade: Dillon Peters (LHP MIA) -prospect Jake Woodford (RHP STL) -prospect Peter Alonso (1B NYM) -prospect
White Sox accept. With Miggy on board I'm good at 1B for a few years and wanted to get some MiLB depth for Pujols. None of these guys are that highly rated yet, but Woodford and Alonso are both prospects I really like and happy to bring in. Pujols is tough to value because he's getting pretty old in baseball years, but he's still a 600AB/30HR/100RBI machine. There doesn't seem much risk in his performance still, but this seems about right factoring in any risk with his age. Thanks for the smooth negotiations. Marlins to confirm when they can.

Marlins accept. Had a big hole at 1B and as a lifelong Angels fan, love having Pujols and Trout. Health and age concerns abound, but that's why I didn't have to give up any very highly prospects to get him. Hope it works out for both sides. Good luck ChiSox

I think Pujols personally comes with a ton of risk with his bad feet but if he can stay relatively healthy he should remain productive.
