Indians Send:

Kendrys Morales (DH) $7,000,000 (2017)
Joey Wendle (OAK) 2B/3B - Prospect (Drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 6th round of the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft and never traded)

Braves Send:

Jose Abreu (CWS) 1B $17,000,000 (2017)
Drew Harrington (LHP) - Prospect (Drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 3rd round of the 2016 MLB June Amateur Draft and not taken in FYPD)

Braves accept. With the re-sign of Hosmer I have a 1B now so I would play Abreu at UTIL anyway. I think stats wise Morales/Abreu will be pretty close, so I'm trading positional flexibility for salary flexibility. Wendle and Harrington is a prospect swap. I think Wendle has a chance to get decent AB's in OAK this year so willing to give up Harrington for him as I will need a 2B after Kinsler's contract runs out.

Indians Accept

For me it's about filling the hole I have at 1B (I'm paying Cory Hart $4M+ of pretend money to go hunt or fish or whatever it is he's doing).

The stats for Morales & Abreu are very similar so I'm fine paying the extra $10M for 2017 in order to have my roster filled. Also give me flexability at my Utility spot.
