I'm okay at $7M as well. I hve a tough time valuing Bautista mainly because of age. It's tough to compare to younger re-signs because a 3 year deal from 32-35 is much different than 35-38 IMO. Never know how a player is going to age in those final years I don't think. He could keep it up like Beltre and last forever, or take a dive like Teix and Arod did after 35. Trumbo might be another decent comp who was just signed for $8M but right in his prime at 31 and not on the tail end of his career.

Bautista took quite the dip last year. He's still a solid player, but he's getting older (going into his age 36 season) so a decline should be expected. Even so, I think he's better than Moss, both in his production as well as playing time situation, so I would want more for Bautista than for Moss. This satisfies that requirement
