Braves Send:

Brian McCann (NYY) C $9,000,000 (2018) (Resign)

Braves accept. Trading with the possibility that Tulo's health is not great and I like the upside of Baddoo. I have some replacements at Catcher that I think can probably fill in for McCann.

Diaz had such high value 2 seasons ago and now he's traded for a resign Catcher. But Diaz contract is up after the season and unless there's a major shift he isn't looking like a resign candidate.

Rangers GM (Pete): I didn't think of it until now, maybe a shorter resign should cost more annually since the commitment and risk is less. Which is usually true in real life. Just a thought to consider next time we review rules. Feb 5, 2023 12:43:38 GMT -6
