Seattle Accepts I was after Camargo to be my 3rd baseman until Austin Riley comes up now probably next year since he is injured - then Camargo should be a solid utility player - and he fits with me having Swanson so who ever is playing next year i should be solid Peraza gives me some 2b depth and also gives me some speed - hopefully for Braves Duvall rebounds but I think i have a better chance a SB right now than homers - Axford/Gearrin are just warm bodies with all the injuries I have to my RP Hernandez is OF depth I think Camargo might be $300,000 (2022) he lost prospect in 2017 how they were acquired Adam Duvall acquired in trade with Giants Jun 17, 2016 at 12:18am Jacob Faria acquired in trade with Rays Mar 27, 2016 at 10:51pm Braves signed Camargo to Minor league contract in 2010 and was never traded. Peraza this was all i could find in his call up - Was initially with ATL from 2011-2014. No record of being moved on here. themajorsleague.freeforums.net/thread/2994/jose-peraza-300-000-2021John Axford won in FA Jun 1, 2018 at 1:00am Cory Gearrin original ATL draft pick 2007 round 4 Gorkys Hernandez won in FA Jun 1, 2018 at 12:56am

On the Braves side, he is receiving an Adam Duvall who hasn't quite been the same player that he has been in previous years with an average below the Mendoza line and mitigated power. While he is still mostly playing full time, it's hard to say how much longer that will last and how worthwhile he will be in that time. I suppose given that he is still a full-time player and his previous displays of power, he is still intriguing, though he is now on the wrong side of 30 where he's worth a B-. Faria seems to have a similar story to Duvall considering his underwhelming performance this year compared to last year. Plus, having an injury doesn't help his case too much. With that, I would say his value has slightly decreased from when he was valued at a B-/B as a prospect entering 2017 where his current value is B-. As for the Mariners side, Camargo seems to be a solid, if not underwhelming power with the only significant skill that stands out to me being his K/BB ratio. With that, I would say he probably has B-/B value. Similar to Camargo, Peraza doesn't stand out beside his low k% and speed. Still, those are pretty sustainable skills, and he has been getting reliable playing time (moreso than Duvall) where I also value him at B-/B. As low leverage relievers with contracts set to expire soon, I won't place any significant value on Axford or Gearrin. Finally, Hernandez seems to be getting some playing time on the Giants while posting respectable numbers. Of course, as someone set to expire and no upside, he isn't worth more than a C With that, I do think the Mariners are getting the better side of the deal. At the same time, I can understand the Braves side as he is receiving more upside while the Mariners knows what he is going to get with the players he is acquiring Ownership is mostly good. Just noting that Axford was acquired as a waiver claim by the Braves here: themajorsleague.freeforums.net/thread/4050/john-axford-500-2018-bravesApproved 2-0

Not sure I agree that ATL is getting more upside. I think Duvall is on his way out. I’d say he’s worth the 2 relievers and Hernandez. Probably a little more than that.
Faria is worth Camargo or Peraza. Not both. I feel like Atlanta gave up 1 guy too many in this trade. Faria is what he is. Camargo or Peraza are young and either may still develop into a valuable player. And both have jobs right now.
I’ll approve, but feel SEA is winning this one.

I think you have the trade figured wrong duvall wasn't traded for 2 RPS and Hernandez
it was Duvall/Faria for Camargo/Peraza - and since we felt there was more upside in Duvall/Faria the others were put in there to even out - they were more just warm bodies and they all have expiring contracts hell they were waiver claims on June 1 - so apparently no-one but you value them -

I guess I was saying Faria is equal to Camargo OR Peraza. But I don’t think Duvall is worth the other at this point. Definitely not worth one of them plus Hernandez. But if someone thinks Duvall is going to bounce back then I could see it. I personally thought he was a fluke last year and that he is on the fast track to benchville. But that’s just my opinion. Which is why I approved the trade.
So you can forget about the RP. But they must hold some value to you or why take them.
I’d still say according to MY opinion, Duvall is about as valuable as the 2 RP and Hernandez. Again, opinion.

Ok. I’m going to admit my mistake. I actually didn’t see that Duvall does have 11HR this season. I thought he had 4 for some reason. That does make a difference. I thought his power had dropped off, but it’s just his average. So I’ll eat some crow here. I must have looked at his stats wrong or something. I still do think SEA got the better deal, but at least ATL added some HR and RBI. Sorry SEA
