Yu Darvish 7,500,000 (2020) Resign

Pirates send:
Clay Holmes
Trevor Rogers
Samuel Inoa
PIT 3rd Rd FYPD

Rays accept. Obviously some concern with how Yu comes back this year after injury. Was looking to swap him to bolster my minors. Holmes is 25 and had a rough season last year as a rookie, but I still like his stuff. Has pitched well at multiple levels. Rogers had a disastrous 1st season, but is a former 1st rounder drafted by our PIT team. Inoa is a long shot intl prospect signed by PIT in 2015. Then the 3rd rd pick to help add depth to the system.

The Pirates need SP and the roll of the dice on Yu is a worthwhile gamble.
