Rockies Trade:
RP Jeremy Jeffress (MIL) $300,000 (2019) -- Paid Minors
RP David Hernandez (CIN) $1,500,000 (2019)
Last time Jake Lamb was productive/healthy was 2017. Since then 56 GM and this year just 5 games.
Vizcaino has basically missed the last two years after appearing in 62 GM in 2017 the last 2 yrs 39 GMs and 4 GMs.
I am willing to roll the dice on these 2 and see if they might have a bounce back year in 2020.
Familia has been very bad this year in his return to the Mets. He is an expiring deal that Padres wanted to dump to clear a roster spot.
In addition I add a couple of lottery tickets in Ruiz and Contreras to help with my rebuild.
Padres acq two very proven and reliable RPs in his quest for a deep playoff run.
