This is a general question, not something pressing in any way for me, but when exactly are future FYPD picks allowed to be traded? Right now, it is pretty clear to me that you can trade 2019 FYPD picks and 2020 FYPD picks. Can we trade 2021 FYPD picks? I assume not. When can we though? At the opening of next off-season? At the end of the 2019 FYPD? I couldn't find it in the rules, so any help would be appreciated. It is probably written out somewhere, but I haven't found it.

This was some how missing from rules but has since been added

First Year Player Draft

Each year, around the middle of August after the MLB signing deadline, we will hold our First Year Player Draft.

The draft will consist of 3 rounds.

You may only draft players who signed a contract after being drafted in real life.

The draft order will be determined by the records of our league.

In 2012, we will start using the end of the season standings for this draft order, so our 2011 final standings will be used to determine the draft order.

Draft picks can be traded two years in advance, so our 2015 picks may be traded. (our current draft is 2013, so 2 years is 2015)

Also, any player not drafted in our draft, will then be returned back to the original teams that they were drafted by in real life

Round 1 will consist of a 24 hour time limit per pick

Rounds 2 and 3 will consist of a 12 hour time limit per pick.

2011: No Season
League Re-Start

World Series: 1 (2018); 1 Title (2018)
League Championship Series: 4 (2015, 2017, 2018, 2021)
League Division Series: 7 (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021)
Playoff Appearances: 7 (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021) | Division Title: 6 (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021) | Wild Card: 1 (2013)

Joey, when does this reset? Immediately once the 2019 draft is complete does that mean 2020 is now our current draft?

So picks become eligible to trade right after s draft rather than at the start of a season.

I think it is a fine policy, but we should probably have it written down in the rules clearly.
