Halos send RF - Jorge Soler - KC - (2020) - $5,000,000 (Re-Sign player) LF - Ben Revere - LAA - (2020) - $7,000,000 Jesus Sanchez - RF - TB prospect no contract
Tribe sends 2b - Jason Kipnis - $6,500,000 (2016NTC)(2020) RE-SIGN Seth Beer - LF/1B - HOU prospect no contract Will Wilson - 2B/SS - LAA prospect no contract Jhon Torres - RF - STL prospect no contract Adrian Rondon - 2B/SS - LAA prospect no contract Yainer Diaz - C - CLE prospect no contract
Halos accept Setting up Cleveland to be stronger moving forward. RF is a log jam position for me and a black hole for him we match up nicely. Kipnis is included to allow him to resign Jose Ramirez while upgrading his RF spot.

I look forward to the reasoning from Indians because on the surface this deal seems a bit odd to me. He seems to be giving up a TON for essentially Jorge Soler and Jesus Sanchez.
Also not sure what Kipnis (2B/OF) has to do with re-signing Jose Ramirez (3B only has not played any 2B this year). Usually when a team is taking on a bad deal like Ben Revere they get stuff in return but I don't see that here for Tribe. But will with hold judgement until he posts.
So again interested to see Indians reasoning.

Totally understand the concern Rockies...I'll try to provide a lot of context based on the number of players involved, etc. Apologies in advance for the novel.
This season has not gone according to plan, with 90% of that my fault and 10% due to injuries & poor play. I admittedly have not paid enough attention to guys in my minors (Frazier, Perez, Bieber, Urshela) who should have been promoted to help with the rash of injuries I've dealt with (Kluber, Tulo, Ramirez & Aguilar playing well below their expected production, Russell suspension, Kemp DFA, etc.). I'm now looking towards next season because I think my team COULD be good enough to make a run at the playoffs. So this is an attempt at a short-term improvement for me.
For me the need I'm filling is RF and with Soler's emergence (finally) this season I'm hoping he will continue his HR pace next season. Sanchez looks like a great prospect and closer than any of the guys I'm giving away who are not yet in the majors.
Kipnis is a resign that I regretted almost immediately, I was new to this league but should have known better anyway. If I take Soler without giving up a re-sign, I won't be able to re-sign Jose Ramirez after this season when he's up. Soler would be #4 with none coming up in 2019 and my other 2 were more valuable to me in Abreu and Kluber.
The other guys could be good someday but I prefer to give up prospects for guys already in the bigs. Beer so far as hit well, but is blocked in HOU org and doesn't seem to have a position. Wilson, Torres, and Rondon are a way away from what I can tell. Diaz too, and I have a couple other catchers on the team in Perez & Mejia.

Think Angels is doing pretty well here but I'm fine with it. Kipnis taking up one of four resign spots is brutal since he's useless now. Revere also useless but at least not a re-sign. Sanchez was a top 50 type before the season started (not anymore but ya know). Soler has 27 HR. Indians giving up a nice group of 5 prospects to get those two plus a slightly less terrible contract. No need to reject here.

Approve. Also feel like Angels wins this deal. But fills a need for CLE.

I think Angels win's this deal if the specs are what they are suppose to be but that is not a definite for sure.
