Orioles accept. I wanted one more shot at the tail end of this draft for another prospect. Was worth dealing away a high DD pick and a back end DD pick as I don't value them quite as much as one more pick here in the FYPD.

The draft order isn't set. Why are you putting 1.2 and 1.27 in there. As of this moment, those wouldn't be the pick #s anyway.

My understanding is that the 2019 DD draft is set from the previous year’s standings just like the 2019 FYPD. Thus, the picks should already be set in place. Am I wrong?

Yes. You are mistaken. The way they do the dates here is kind of odd because the 2019 DD will take place in 2020. But think of the 2019 DD and 2019 FYPD as based on the new 2019 draftees and IFAs, not based on the records from 2019.

The 2019 FYPD is in order by 2018 final standings since it occurs mid season.
The 2019 DD is in order by 2019 final standings (which the season isn’t done yet).
The DD occurs at the end of the season. That’s how I try to remember it.
