3B: Josh Donaldson (3B) MIN - $11.4M (2018 NTC) (2020)***RE-SIGN***

Angels send:

RF - Adam Eaton - WAS - (2021) - $6,600,000 (ReSign)
RP - Ryan Madson - WAS - $5,000,000 (2020)

Marlins accept. Cleans up a little bit of my re-sign mess scheduled for the end of this year. Taking on some dead money to balance the contracts and make it work for both teams financially.

Just to be clear you know that Eaton is a re-sign thru NEXT YEAR (2021)? Where Donaldson re-sign expires this year? The re-sign tag transfers for Eaton. Your basically trading re-sign tags and adding a year of commitment.

Yes. The issue I have is 3 RESIGNS and a rookie contract all up this year and I can only RESIGN 2 max in any year so it cleans up that issue a little bit.
