Orioles accept. Moving a few prospects to acquire what I hope will be an impact bat for me. I should have a few open Re-Sign tags for the next few seasons as my prospects graduate and hopefully Merrifield will be a useful piece of my next contending team.

Royals agree. Restocking the farm system on an expiring contract for a player that I would most likely not re-sign. I have Hampson and Lopez to fill in at 2B. Wright and Abreu add much needed pitching depth and Bailey a potential long term C for me.
