The Why
Where i had been trying to acquire some pics and get depth. After my last few moves my team is in position to make a run. I am not going to go all in giving up everything, but Wendle is sold piece to get, he gives me a back up 3B and with some injuries will probably start some for me. Unfortunately, there are questions around Wendle after the recent call ups Tampa has done it is hurting his playing time, but i feel on my team Chris Taylor's playing time will also be hurt, so I am hoping the 2 together will make for 1 solid player, and who knows they both might play. I felt a 3rd pick was worth getting 2 more years of Wendle and his position flexibility.
